Maren Steiner

Maren Steiner brings over a decade of medical and risk management experience and a unique perspective to the event planning process. Steiner is a specialist in ensuring the health and safety of guests at entertainment gatherings, and has built medical teams and emergency action plans for some of the largest events in the world. Her recent work includes the Academy Awards, SAG Awards, Long Beach and Huntington Beach Surf City Marathons, and Red Bull Soap Box Races.

Steiner also coordinates medical services for multiple major venues in and around Southern California and provides full service, pre-hospital care centers for West Hollywood and other major cities during mass gatherings, such as the LA Pride Parade & Festival. She also served as the Medical Coordinator for CBS Television City working on shows such as American Idol and Dancing with the Stars and was the first female member of the emergency response team, F-31 employed by NBCUniversal in Universal City, California.

During her time as the Insomniac Health & Safety Director, she worked on ground-breaking research in support of mass gathering medicine protocols in the United States and abroad. These protocols are now being used for the treatment of patients at music festivals including Insomniac's international Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, New York, Orlando, Japan, and Mexico City - to name a few.
